This structure is common in high-frequency scalping, and it works when the win rate stays high. But it means:
- The system needs a win rate above 67% to break even — before spread and commission
- A short run of consecutive losses erodes profit quickly
- Broker spread and commission matter more than usual — a 15-pip target leaves little room for execution costs
